The purpose of these house rules is to establish regulations for the use of the premises and infrastructure on the properties and grounds of RENTABOX24. These rules are designed to promote an orderly and peaceful coexistence among tenants, ensuring everyone adheres to RENTABOX24 House Rules.
The house rules form an integral part of the self-storage contract and apply to all individuals present in the building or on the premises. The general terms and conditions of the RENTABOX24 self-storage contract also apply.
Access Hours
Tenants with access (e.g., via key, access card, or code) generally have unrestricted 24/7 access. However, location-specific opening hours within RENTABOX24 House Rules must always be observed.
Security
- Exterior doors must remain closed at all times!
- Propping doors open is allowed only when absolutely necessary and for a short time during loading and unloading.
Loading Ramps and Parking
- Use of loading ramps should be kept as short as possible to comply with RENTABOX24 House Rules.
- Parking in the ramp area is permitted only for loading and unloading.
- Parking spaces are clearly marked and exclusively for visitors to the premises.
- Vehicles, particularly vans and trucks, must not block access or escape routes according to RENTABOX24 House Rules.
Mutual Consideration
Disruptive emissions such as noise, vibrations, odors, etc., must be avoided. Tenants must be considerate of other users and neighbors, following RENTABOX24 House Rules.
- Disruptive activities during quiet hours are strictly prohibited.
Use of Storage Units
- The rented storage unit may only be used for storing permitted items, as specified in RENTABOX24 House Rules.
- Living or working in the storage units is strictly prohibited.
- Tenants may only enter the premises for the delivery or collection of items.
Temporary Storage Areas
- Storing or leaving items outside of the rented storage unit is prohibited.
- Designated transfer zones (e.g., loading ramps) may be used as short-term depots (maximum 1-2 hours) during large deliveries or pickups.
Waste Disposal
Leaving furniture, household items, waste, packaging materials, or similar items within the building or outdoor area is strictly prohibited under RENTABOX24 House Rules.
- Disposing of large amounts of waste or household garbage in or around the premises is forbidden.
No Smoking
Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the entire building, according to RENTABOX24 House Rules.
Fire Safety
- Escape routes and emergency exit doors must remain clear at all times.
- Doors on escape routes must never be locked or blocked.
- Fire and emergency doors must remain closed and must not be propped open, tied, or obstructed.
- The use of fire or gas appliances (e.g., gas stoves) is prohibited in the building and on the grounds.
Use of Electrical Devices
No electrical devices may be connected in the building without prior written consent from the landlord, in line with RENTABOX24 House Rules.
Floor Load Limit / Heavy Items / Vehicles
- The maximum floor load of 175 kg/m² must not be exceeded without prior written consent from the landlord.
- Machines, heavy furniture, or vehicles may not be stored without prior approval.
Damage Reporting
Any type of damage must be reported to the landlord immediately via email or telephone.
- Depending on the location, various transport aids (e.g., trolleys, furniture dollies, pallet jacks) and cleaning materials (e.g., vacuum cleaners, brooms, dustpans) are available.
- All tools and equipment must be returned to their designated places after use according to RENTABOX24 House Rules.
These house rules at RENTABOX24 were enacted by the landlord on August 1, 2024.
