How big are the storage rooms?

Each Rentabox24 self-storage warehouse has different storage boxes ranging in size from 1 m³- 50 m² with a ceiling height of 2.4 m

On request, we can provide you with larger storage spaces.

Are my possessions insured?

Your property must be insured.

We have selected the best insurance conditions for you.

This saves you time and effort.

Your stored items are insured for 3000 euros.

You only pay 5 euros per month for this.

The insurance covers damage, destruction or loss of the insured goods due to the following risks Fire (fire, lightning, explosion), mains water, storm / hail, burglary / vandalism, flood / earthquake.

What items must not be stored?

In particular, the storage of the following items is expressly prohibited, although this list is not exhaustive:
1. Living Entities: No animals, fish, insects, birds, or plants.
2. Flammable Items: Includes LPG, petrol, diesel, kerosene, aerosol cans, paints, varnishes, and other similar substances.
3. Explosives and Combustible Gases: Fireworks, propane, butane, and other explosives.
4. Hazardous Chemicals: Radioactive, toxic, or corrosive substances, including acids, pesticides, herbicides, and cleaning agents.
5. Weapons and Ammunition: All types of weapons and related materials.
6. Waste Materials: Non-recyclable items, refuse, or waste, including wrecked vehicles.
7. Perishables and Vermin-Attractants: Any perishable goods or items likely to attract pests.
8. Valuables: Cash, precious metals, stones, jewelry, art, and irreplaceable items.
9. Illegal Substances: Any narcotics or items from criminal activities.
10. Harmful Materials: Asbestos, oxidizers, irritants, environmentally harmful substances, and health-threatening materials like heavy metals and carcinogens.

What about protection and security at Rentabox24?

– Our warehouses are open 24/7.
– Personal access is via the RentaBox24 app.
– At the storage complex you have at your disposal: Equipment for
loading and unloading and WLAN access.
– You lock the box after your visit.
– There are surveillance cameras throughout the complex.

How long can I rent my space for?

The minimum contract period is one month.

If you rent for one month or longer, your contract will be automatically extended by a further month until you cancel it. Please note the notice period of 2 weeks. Payment for the rented box is made monthly.

What is the difference between opening hours and access times?

Our call center staff will be happy to help you with your various concerns and answer any questions that may arise during the conclusion of the contract, during the rental period and when the box is released.

You have access to rented boxes 24/7.

If I rent a storage unit from Rentabox24, will my wife, children or friends have access to it?

If you want your relatives, friends or employees to have access to your box, give them access using our app so that they can also view the storage unit easily.

How do I reserve a storage space?

Reserving a storage space at RENTABOX24 is easy and can be done completely digitally via our website or mobile app. Here are the steps to secure your storage space:

Select size: Use our storage space calculator to determine the appropriate size of your storage space. We offer a range of sizes to suit your needs.

Choose location: Choose one of our centrally located sites that suits you best.

Enter reservation details: Enter your personal information and select your desired rental start date.

Enter payment details: Make payment to secure your reservation. We offer flexible payment options, including credit card or PayPal.

Receive confirmation: After completing your reservation, you will receive a confirmation email with full details of your storage space and further instructions.

If you have any further questions or need assistance, our customer service team is always available to help you.

What do I need to make a reservation?

When making a reservation, you only need to provide your name, e-mail address and telephone number. You do not need to provide any credit card or other payment information. The reservation is free of charge: you only pay the rent after you have signed a rental contract.

Can I cancel my reservation?

A reservation with us does not commit you to anything, so you can cancel it at any time. Our staff will be happy to help you book a storage unit. Just give us a call or write to us.

How do I pay for storage?

Payment is made online via a payment link by credit card, bank transfer or SEPA direct debit. Cash payment is not possible.

How much is the rent?

You pay a monthly as specified in the contract. We have no hidden or additional costs. The amount of the rent depends on the size of the box and the rental period, and you can get all the information about the prices either after your online request on our website or from our staff, who you can contact by phone, e-mail or online chat.

Can I change my rented premises if I need more or less space?

You can change the rented storage unit if the space no longer meets your needs. We will provide you with a more suitable space without incurring any additional costs for exchanging the box.

How do I terminate the rental agreement?

The termination should be made in writing and sent to us either by e-mail, fax or post. The letter of termination should include the name of the tenant, the number of the storage box and the date on which you wish to terminate the rental contract. Please observe the notice period of two weeks.
